Two
photographers originally from Canada have now joined
forces to bring you the best of their artistic talents
through to camera lens. Focusing on nature and wildlife
photography, Ruth Ditchfield and Michael Ditchfield are
dedicated to sharing an appreciation of the environment
as well as capturing the essence and magnificence of the
moment.
Ruth a
devoted nature and wildlife photographer for more than
15 years studied under master photographers James
Moses and Bill Thomas (*). For four years ending in 2007
Ruth was assistant to Bill Thomas traveling and working
with him from Alaska to the Everglades. Prior to
joining Bill Thomas, Ruth was photographer for Landmark
Community Newspapers and worked freelance. She is a
world traveler, naturalist and originally educated in
child education (pre-school). She is a soul seeker,
looking for the right moment to capture the spirit of
her subjects within the medium of her camera.
Michael
has ten years of experience in photography and has also
studied under Moses & Thomas. He has traveled only
slightly visiting Italy, Canada and the US. He
brings a complex background of interests including
computer science, martial arts (tae
kwon do),
nature, electronics, digital imagery, computer
enhancement and abstract art concepts.
They also
have both studied under John Shaw, professional nature
photographer and author.

(Bill Thomas besides being a world famous photojournalist
also conducts Touch of Success Seminars, his photos have
appeared in major magazines such as Audubon Life,
Sierra, National Geographic,
etc. In 1976 he was awarded the prestigious Geographic
Society Award. His photo art gallery is located in
Glendale, Kentucky where he also lives.)
